Around the beginning of the 21st Century, Los Angeles rockers EARSHOT were rising stars in a crowded pack. With a pair of albums released by Warner Bros. (2002's LETTING GO and 2004's TWO), the band scored a placement on the QUEEN OF THE DAMNED soundtrack, had gamers feeling the groove on MADDEN 2005 and WWE's LEGENDS OF WRESTLING II, and logged major tours with the likes of STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, KID ROCK and STAIND.

Then, just as many artists of the era did, they found themselves in label-limbo after the big industry crash, only to re-emerge with THE SILVER LINING in 2008 via...

For Earshot fans like myself, "Remember" is definitely a different kind of song for you guys that I wasn't sure about at first, but after downloading and listening to it, it's truly a song that has a unique message in it that I think just about everyone needs to hear and apply to their own life. It's musical self-help!

Because of that, it's a timeless song in my book. Def a great and inspiring song. It rocks too! Nailed it. Great job guys!

I recently got a chance to preview the new EARSHOT single “Now That It’s Over” (out MAY 7th) from their upcoming Mini-LP, “Aftermath“. It’s been a while since we heard anything from the Earshot crew so I didn’t know what to expect but judging from this track, chances are the album will meet and exceed expectations.

The track definitely has the Earshot charm, solid melody, raw guitars yet smooth to digest overall, it keeps your attention all the way through and there’s no moments of craziness or awkward transitions. All the elements that made their 2004 album”Two” such an awesome album are all there and execu...

Review Summary: Although not as heavy as its predecessors, 'The Silver Lining' proves that Earshot haven't missed a beat since their sophomore release four years ago.

Inscribed at the heart of The Silver Lining's liner notes, Earshot writes: "Fight 'til you drop, never give up, and remember that every dark cloud has a silver lining. There are many that have inspired, enabled, and helped us to endure in trying times... and also helped to shape this work of art of which we are so very proud of. You all have been, and always will continue to be, our silver lining." By no means do I have a Ph.D. in deductive reasoning, but...

The members of Earshot have made sonic waves with such songs as "Get Away," "Not Afraid" and "Wait," while touring the United States with Kid Rock, Static-X, Stone Temple Pilots and Hoobastank.

Debuting on Warner Brothers Records in May 2002 with the David Kahne-produced "Letting Go" LP, the Los Angeles hard rock band released its second album - aptly titled "Two" - on June 29. Produced by Johnny K (Soil, Disturbed), the album includes the majority of the songs Earshot is playing on its latest tour with Saliva.

With the band set to play Aug. 13 at the Webster Theater in Hartford, I caught...

Every so often a band will come along and introduce a fresh new sound that separates them from the pack. Los Angeles-based foursome Earshot is doing just that simply by sticking to their roots. On their upcoming Warner Bros. release, Letting Go, due May 7th, they offer listeners an alternative to the assembly line gloom and doom saying products drowning the market in dread. "I’ve just tried to create something that people can relate to and connect with," begins singer/guitarist Wil Martin, "but I tried to make a record that was really hopeful by the time you’re finished listening to it."
